Scripture & Prayer Intentions

Updated: May 4

Angels and Doves recognizes that Christ

is the center of all creation. He is our peace, safety, and healing grace. Without Christ in our lives we have no hope.

Lord God, maker of heaven and earth and of all created things, you make your just ones holy and you justify sinners who confess your name. Hear us as we humbly pray to you: give us eternal joy with your saints.

St Francis Assisi we come to you today to pray and intercede for

all of us - God's Creation

Today, we pray for all God's creation. Especially, for all of his innocent animals who are injured, abandoned, scared, ill and exploited. We also come to Christ and ask for his blessings and saving power for all his people who are also injured, abandoned, ill, scared and exploited.

Lord, we ask you to remember all your people who are suffering from mental health illness and cancer. We also ask you to provide comfort and peace to the families who are suffering while at the side of their suffering loved ones. Amen

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Amen

MENTAL HEALTH PRAYER

LOVING GOD, YOU ARE ALWAYS NEAR TO US, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE WEAK, SUFFERING AND VULNERABLE.

Lord, Reach out to those who experience mental illness. Lift their burdens, calm their anxiety, and quiet their fears. Surround them with your healing presence that they may know that they are not alone. We ask this through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes and in the name of your Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. AMEN.

ANIMAL PRAYERS

Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land. You inspired Saint Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters. We ask you to bless this pet.

SICK ANIMAL PRAYER
